Kodiak Creek Inn opened in September 1998 with new ownership in 2001. This 100+year-old building was originally the “Cooley Lake Grocery” in the early 1900’s and later was well known as “Duffy’s On The Lake” for a span of three decades.

The dining experience at Kodiak Creek holds something for everyone. The Creek’s comfortable dining rooms and bar certainly welcome almost all attire from business casual to evening gowns and cumber buns. Our main dining room, with it’s high beam ceiling and twenty foot wide stone fireplace will transport you to a north woods hunting lodge complete with authentic wild game trophies from several continents (including a 9½ foot Kodiak Bear from Russia and a Michigan Wolverine to name just a couple). During warmer months, guests can enjoy outdoor dining and libations on our patio overlooking beautiful Cooley Lake. Chef has some exciting evening patio “cookery” planned to please the taste buds and visually amuse as well! The chef has compiled a new house menu for 2005. Focused on regional wild game and traditional Midwestern American fare, our culinary team has produced a truly savory menu. The Creek proudly offers a large variety of menu options for the whole family including steaks, pasta and seafood. We serve wild game entrees for the adventurous appetite and a children’s menu for the little ones.
